A Full Kitchen for Everyday Living

Residents have access to a large shared kitchen open 24/7, allowing them to cook, prepare meals, and maintain their daily routines independently. All residents provide their own food, but communal cooking and shared meals are always welcome.

This space is designed to support independent living while encouraging community.

Community Without Isolation

Our spacious common living room gives residents a place to connect, watch TV, relax, and build meaningful community. For those who value independence but do not want to live alone, this shared social space creates balance between privacy and connection.

This is where conversations happen, friendships grow, and community is built.

Comfortable Shared and Private Room Options

Residents can choose between shared or private accommodations based on availability. Shared rooms are spacious and comfortable, while the private room offers additional privacy on a first-come, first-served basis.

All spaces are designed to support comfort, peace, and simple living.

American Nurses Independent Living offers:

5 shared rooms

1 private room

11 beds total

Supporting Independence Through Access

We understand that independence often requires reliable access to transportation and essential services. Residents may utilize our shared bicycle program for a small monthly fee, providing a simple and flexible option for local travel and daily errands.

For broader transportation needs, the local public bus service is conveniently located just 1 mile from the home, giving residents easy access to shopping, appointments, work, and community resources.

As our community grows, additional bicycles will be added based on resident needs — helping residents stay connected, mobile, and independent.

Stability Through Community Resource Access

While American Nurses Independent Living does not provide case management or hands-on support, we do help residents connect to outside resources they may already qualify for, including:

Transportation benefits

Medicaid services

SSI/SSDI support resources

Food assistance programs

Community-based service access

Our goal is to help residents maintain stability while living independently.

Where independence meets peace, and community feels like home.
